At the end of April, the tourist potentials of Western Kosovo were promoted on two fairs in the region. The fair in Tirana, Albania was held from 25 to 27 April 2012, and the fair inSkopje, Macedonia was held from 24 to 28 April 2012.

The basic idea was to promote tourism opportunities of western Kosovo. For the purposes of promotion informational flyers were made. Short information and photos of beautiful locations of Pec, Decani, Klina and Istog supposed to trigger the imagination of visitors and to awake the desire to visit those places. In addition, photos and brief information were presented on banners while advertising videos with tourist destinations of western Kosovo were constantly broadcast on the stands.

More information visitors received through discussions with the responsible officers.

Besides the interest of individual visitors, interest from several tour operators from Macedonia and Albania was significant. They asked for possibilities to organize tourist visits in the presented tourist destinations for their clients.

Regional promotion of the tourism potentials of Western Kosovo is an activity planned in the project and that in the coming months will be complemented by broadcasting advertising videos on TV stations in the region.
